Default Drunkard skill counting

Drunkard skill should be given like points for sweets/party items eg. you get points for drinking alcohol not for spending lots of time afking/playing with weird video effects.
Current system is confusing and overall cause lost of precious alcohol.

Watch your title progress bar and it will tell you exactly when each minute is credited. Too many people complaining about how hard things are. If it's that hard to work on this title, then don't. If it's the in game effects that's annoying, turn them off.

P.S.
You don't waste any alcohol if you drink a level 5 alcohol, wait 3 minutes then drink another level 5 alcohol.

Switch the title progress to giving points when you drink the ale. Leave the minute-long and scaling effects.

This. Make sure you leave the screen affects as is, but make the title itself points. That way, those who like the effects will be more likely to do it the "old-fashion way" when/if the title gets changed.

It's fine the way it is. Do stuff while your drunk, I ran missions. farm and bought and sold things in town while drunk.

I was thinking of getting my cartographer title by using [drunken [email protected]]
wouldn't that be a viable method to spending drunk time?

Running the edge of the maps while drunk using [drunken [email protected]] seems like a great way to multitask titles.

as from what i read in order to maximize your effort you start by drinking a lvl5 drink and then a lvl 1 drink after every minute that passes. I would like to do what Daze had suggested but in order to maximize it i would have to really pay attention to the drunkard title in the hero panel or have a stop watch beep every min so that i would use a lvl 1 drink, which can be very difficult since in some areas u cant simply run past bad guys without having to fight. Just wish there was a better way to obtain IAH without having to spend 160+hours or real time not really playing the game.
So for now i guess i'll get drunk while buying and selling stuff in town.

actually any enemies can be ran past as long as you have the right skillbar. But [drunken master] is only one skill so you can add 7 more skills designed to either take out any resistance or to avoid said resistance ([deaths charge][vow of silence][mist form][shadow form]etc.)

As for the stopwatch idea, i really hope it doesn't come down to that. I plan to just kinda wing it, ill have another drink periodically just to keep my drunkenness above lvl 3 so i may wait a minute or a minute and a half before i drink again and if i feel that i waited too long, ill drink 2.
Just treat alcohol like i do in real life, I dont drink until my blood alcohol content reaches .02. I drink until ugly chicks are hot and maybe a bit more.

I would really like it this way. This mindless clicking every minute/3 minutes is driving me nuts. If this is implemented this way I may even reconsider drinking again.

Having to do stuff while you're drunk just to burn time would be a big inconvenience. I don't see any reason in forcing players to wait out to get their points in the track for 1000-10000 minutes total, especially when the item effects and point gains could be split.

Similar to how Sugar Rush works, a person drinking alcohol could have a skill (not an Enchantment) in the Effects Monitor saying they're at Level x Alcoholism with a duration of a minute, and then drinking alcohols would increase it while waiting would drop it. That would also solve a counter idea that some people have been QQing over for a while.

I would say if they dont change it to a point oriented system, at least put the effect monitor at the top so you could see how much longer it will last much like the sweet tooth. That way you wouldnt have to resort to using other means to obtain the title

Seriously, if it's too painful to go for, don't do it? What I did is keep open the title bar as I was PvEing and just knock back some booze every few minutes. You can turn off the drunk effects if you want.

Currently, the Drunkard title it's like a clepsydra.
You have to look at it.

No title should be like that. Drop by drop...

With no way o see your current level and no title bar like the XP bar, it's only annoying.

It should be like the rest of Festival titles: Just use the items and don't bother about when you use them.

If this way is the way to fix that, then should be done. If a better way exists, then that other way should be done.
